Automotive industry manufacturing from AEUK

Advanced Engineering have many years experience supplying the automotive sector, including Tier 1 manufactures in the UK, Europe and the USA, and investing in both the latest technologies and we developed specialist knowledge that sets us apart from competitors. These include 5-axis CNC machining, bespoke fixturing for machining, inspection and pressure testing, project management, on machine probing and gauging. Below are some of the areas we specialise in.

Body In White

We have completed a number of projects machining body in white chassis and suspension components from aluminium and magnesium. These are particularly testing parts to machine due to tight tolerances and machining castings with thin wall sections having a tendency to move and flex under load. This requires dedicated fixturing combined with skill experience to get the right result for customers and meet tight schedules.

Engine Components

Advanced Engineering have a long track record of machining a wide variety of highly complex and demanding engine components, including cylinder heads and blocks, oil pumps, cam caps and ladder frames. These have been machined from solid material, free issue castings provided by the customer or castings sourced from on of our approved suppliers. Our 4 and 5-axis machining capabilities are supported for our first class quality department and our in-house assembly, pressure testing and wash facilities.

Interior Brightwork

We have been the nominated machining partner on a number of interior brightwork projects of the last 15 years. This experience has given a unique advantage of being able help develop parts with our customers to make them easier to machine, easier to process and easier to finish which provides a cost saving on the project. We have also developed strong working relationships with a number of companies to able to provide a range of solutions and finishes and manage these internally through our quality systems.
