THE PROBLEM
The automotive company is a luxury brand that wants to focus on sustainability and quality of its products and manufacturing techniques over the next number of years. They wanted us to support the production of an ongoing component while they set up a manufacturing cell. This would mean setting up to produce thousands of parts a week while maintaining the highest quality standards demanded by the OEM. Would Advanced Engineering be able to deliver that big of an order in such a short amount of time?
THE SOLUTION
Metal parts for automotive application the simple answer was “yes”. We were able to design and manufacture bespoke production fixtures in-house that supported machining multiple parts simultaneously. This combined with utilising multiple machines and shift patterns mean we now manufacture 3,000 parts per week to help them with their project, which is ongoing until December 2022. We understand how important quality is to a company and we want to provide high-quality, long-lasting products that enable our clients to achieve their overarching business goals. For our customer, what would have normally taken a number of months to complete, took us only a matter of weeks.
